Hi,

This is my story:

I work at company A and my H-1b expires with them on Feb 7 after 6 years.

Company B has been trying to hire me for a long time. They tried visa transfer and 7th year extension and my 7th year extension was denied, but the transfer was approved. The approval notice for company B expires March 8th. They told me they wanted to file O-1 so I have spent a lot of time and money preparing my case and at the last minute (literally, this weekend) they withdrew the offer.

Now I am stuck, I'm at company A with a few days left. They have offered to help in any way possible, but is there really anything they can do? I have all my papers ready to file O-1 (lawyers say I have a very strong case) but would it be possible to prepare it and file it in time? It's so annoying that company B strung me along for so long and then dropped me with no time to work out another plan, plus they have a new i94 which would last til march 8th, but they wont hire me on for that time as it doesn't make any sense, business wise.

Any advice would be appreciated!
