05/14/2007: USCIS Service Centers Petitions/Applications Front Log Problem
USCIS has announced that due to the H-1B massive filings, the Service Centers are experiencing receipting front log problem temporarily and the projected receipting dates are as follows:
Except the Premium Processing or I-129 H-1B (cap or non-cap) cases, the timeframes are as follows:
California Service Center- USCIS expects to provide in time-compliance for receipting of all form types by June 15, 2007.
Nebraska Service Center: USCIS is currently providing in time-compliance for receipting of all form types as of May 10, 2007
Texas Service Center: USCIS is currently providing in time-compliance for receipting of all form types as of May 10, 2007.
Vermont Service Center: USCIS expects to provide in time-compliance for receipting of all form types by June 2, 2007.
Does anyone in this forum get a receipt notice from applying H-1B exemption cap? I filed my petition on April 2 and have not gotten any notification at this point of time. Thank you for your attention.
