Hey, I had a question about how far in advance can I apply for h-1b visa? If I match this year and have OPT for my PGY1 year when is the earliest I can apply for H-1b for a start date of July 1st of the following year.

I faintly remember 6 months (some weak neuron firing this number in the back of my head, right between the price of butter and my sisters birthday, wait it is my sisters birthday).
