H-1 Visa of spouse, validation of my self ??

Hi Guys and GURUs,

My wife is going to get sponsered for her H1 by a company in the U.S.

Now she has her maiden name in the passport, and on her job and other documents she has got married name (i.e. my name as the middle name and my last name as her last name)

Does this create any problem for her as well as for me for the visa proceedings? One more thing we have all the necessary document, say like marriage certificate, bank statements.

And here in INDIA it takes long long time to change her name or any other thing on the passport, so is it O.K. to go ahead with that or not???

within 20 days

If you are not in a hurry u can change her name. It is done within 20 days only. For me it took less than 2 weeks. I applied in hyd, India a year back for the same case. I doesn't take too long.
