I am completing my training June 30th '09. Plan to apply for H-1 (new job) mid June 09. My start date on the H-1 application is going to be July 1st 2009. But I am not sure I can start on July 1st due to pending projects and other work. Is it legally Ok if I start 2-3 weeks late, after July 1st 2009 even though I ask for a start date of July 1st 2009.
I am not sure but I think one should start the job at least immediately once the H-1 is approved, until it is pending you have time...correct me if I am wrong???
