I have applied for an extension of H-1B as it expires by the end of this month. I have not yet heard from INS. I also have an EAD.
Should I wait for my H-1 approval or switch to EAD. I have heard H-1 status is extended even past the expiration date until INS approves my case. Doe this rule also apply to H-4?
Has anyone had any problem with staying past the expiration date while waiting for the H-1 approval.
