I am in the USA with my wife and son. I am on a H-IB visa, the first 3 years of which is up in 9/2004, while my wife and son are on a H-4 visa.
My wife and kid plan to go to India in 5/04 and come back in 7/04. Will the fact that her visa at entry to USA will still show expiration as 9/04 create any issues at the immigration center?
Will it be smart and safe for me to get the 3 year extension here and then for her to get her visa stamped while in India.
Please advise if you have experienced a similar problem.
