I applied for my H1-B in April 01, 2010 and till today i m still waiting for my approval. I got my Bachelor degree from USA major in Marketing and heard it is very hard to get approval in such degrees like mgt, mkt, acct etc., unless u have technical degree (plz answer this). I came to US in 2005 with 2 yrs of F1 visa; however, i finished my bachelor in fall 2008. While on my opt in 2009 i worked for the X company for almost 8 months and stopped working in janaury 2010 because i hv to enroll for master to be in my status and due to that i get admitted and cancelled my opt 1 month prior.

Luckily my employer X advised that he could offer me the position and sponsor for the H1-b. I wanted to know that how much time it takes to get approval, just to inform that the CEO who sponsored me has name in the list something (he didnt get his passport yet perhaps his passport is due 10yrs from now, he is big businessman originally from syria) in between the period in june 10, the INS asked company some wierd question such as, is this specialty position required bachelor degree if yes why , competitor information about the same position, other dept of the company and employees info/ designation etc that make me nervous that time. My lawyer explained that these questions pop once in blue moon and u r the lucky one. lol

Anyhow just want to know any wise advise, i talk to my lawyer he said we cant do any thing just wait not sure how much time it takes. Secondly, I am hoping my visa will be approved Inshallah however if i like to stamp what steps i need to take…..keep in mind i have no valid US visa, so if i go to canada or mexico i can't come back or wat happen? Is this wise decision to go for stamp?

Is I need to apply for canadian visa or appointment for stamping what steps? ..so many information in my head but need to know the correct details.

plz help me out.

thanks
