H-1 and OPT isuue

1. hi i am a student on opt right now when i was doing my masters a company x filed me a h-1 in general quota and said that it is been approved.
2. my opt is valid till october so i can still file h-1 this april in master's quota

If your previous H1 was really approved you need not apply through quota in April, you are cap counted and not subject to lottery again.
But, make sure they had not applied for change of status and you remained in F1 status throughout.
