I had to go to JFK New York Airport to pick up someone. Flight was 12 hours delay so I have plenty of time to hang at the Airport (though not an easy task). Yes I should have check the flight before leaving my home state flight was on schedule but it got mess up at London Airport.
Anyway, there were almost 50-70 passangers some students, some visitors some on F1, B1, Li and yes on H-1b visa with pedning cases were leaving US for good. Reason American is not the same and will never be the same. They think people started to act differently after 9/11. jobs are very hard to find and bills are keep coming. Some H-1b holders were waiting for adjustment since past 15 months with no jobs and they just canan ot take it any more. Few fellow told me that in May INS/DHS will be adding India, Sri Lanka and Nepal on the list to register with INS. If some one status is expired they will be deported. Also H-1b must keep valid status by showing employer letter latest pay stubs and soo forth. Things are not looking good. Land of opportunity is now Lack of opportunity.
