I got my Green Card through employment (VSC) last year in July 2002. My wife interview has been scheduled at US Consulate in my native country in March 2003 to receive immigrant visa through Follow to Join. Is it possible for my wife to come US and get her I551 stamped on her Passport and then leave after 15-20 days. And then join me in late June this year. Do you see any problem with it? Does she need reentry permit or something like that? Reason for this is her studies which she is going to finish in June. Would need your expert opinion. Thanks a lot in advance.:mad:
 
Entry to US

If she has interview in March 2003, then she will have 6 months from the date of immigrant visa issue to enter US. So that means
she will have time upto September 2003.

Other than this, even if she wants to come to US immediately after the interview, stay for some time and go back, that should be OK too!
