Guys, Please help me…

I filled my I485 case on November 2001 and came to bench on August 2002. My Employer is not paying me or laying me off. I found a new employer with my EAD.

1. What are all the procedures to join with my new employer? Do I need to inform to INS about it and how can I do that?

2. What will happen if I am NOT informing my previous employer about my new job and stick with him with my H1B till my approval?

3. Will it matter if my new job title is DBA and old one was Software Consultant.

You can simply join new Employer with your EAD. No need to inform INS until they ask.

If its a desi bodyshopper like Rapidigm, then don't bother to inform them

The job title need to be similar, though not on offer letter but if for some unfortunate reason RFE is generated then you can ask new employer to write a similar title atleast on letter to INS.

You can also do more research on this board .. and you will find lot of other suggestions too

Thanks for the reply.

I heard from somebody in this site saying that I need to fill the I9 form and give a copy of EAD to the new employer.

If that's right Please inform if it's a must to send that I9 form to INS.

Didn't know that I-9 needs to be sent to INS.
My guess is I-9 is kept by your employer and in case INS does an investigation.. then they check I-9.
