Guys,

I am planning to change my employer using my EAD and have been going through this forum from a last couple of days. I am not clear about the statement "that your job duties should be similar, when you join the new employer". Does that include the software technologies which were mentioned on my labor application should match to the technologies on which I would be working on with the new employement. Please help...

This basically means that if you are a Carpenter, your new duties should also be that of a Carpenter. You may have used manual saw in old postion, and electric saw in new, but as long as you are doing the same thing (i.e. carpenting work) you are fine, what tools you use are immaterial. Hope you get the answer to your question from the above example !
