I got a reply from the congressman today. Here is the contents of the email. What Do you guys think??.
Do i get a 2nd fp shortly??.

I have contacted the Texas Service Center in regards to your inquiry. They have informed me that they are presently working applications filed 3/8/02; yours was filed 11/13/02.

Your fingerprints have expired (they are only valid for 15 months); and a request to have you scheduled for another appointment has been made by the Texas Service Center. I do not know when that appointment will be set up, but you should receive a letter of the date, time and place.

Immigration will not allow us to speed up the process of any application, unless dire need can be proved on certain applications.

I will continue to follow the progress of your application and inform you of any changes in work dates.

Yes..You will get a 2nd FP very soon..

In my case it worked..I got my 1st FP notice within days of congressman's letter...

Mine is approved, got 2nd FP for Spouse

My case is approved before 1st FP expires.
They sent 2nd FP for my wife, the day 1st one expired and the same day my case was approved. Why don't they approve my wife case also, instead of sending 2nd FP. Strange INS. Iam sorry Home land security :confused:

Hi lztx,
Pls let us know whenever you have any news after contacting the congressman. Thanks a lot. I sent two faxes plus a letter to TSC to request the FP one month ago but nothing happened so far.

I suggest all of you guys with ND around MAR-MAY, 2002 should contact the congressman to ask for a fp and see what TSC respond. We just request the fp not I-485 approval. It is really unfair not receiving fp for us.
