GUYS !!! Top level push may work, We should continue pushing our efforts too

October 1st does not mean anything

If we think that now the priority will change towards I 485,

May be, but it will not take time for them to change the priority to something else.

So I think we should not get into false hope which can lead to more frustration,

Lets be more practicle, WE CANNOT PREDICT BCIS.

I encourage to take an action, especially faxing the petition to your three local Congressional offices.

Increased Processing Speed doesnot resolve backlog issues.

Though, it helps if the processing increases, we should and will continue our efforts, from all angles.
 
There are fewer people working at BCIS with Lots of work. They will not spend more $$$ for immigrants.

We cannot blame individuals working at BCIS, They just work the manner they get orders from the top.

Top level changes the priority of work. So if we can push the Top level the work will proceed.

The Problem is in the System of BCIS and majority of the problem starting at the upper management level

I totally agree.

Bush had promissed to assign $500M for backlog reduction once before,
but Bush has no money right now because wasting $2B every week in Iraq.
Also, top management at the USCIS is so stupid that they can not make a right decision.
 
Peter123 not yet, however I initiated a status query last thursday by calling NCSC, hope that helps. It may take 3-4 weeks for receving though, you can try the same
