Guys,

I got following response on my 140 expedite request response from USCIS

"The prcoessing of your application is delayed.We are awaiting information from other office to assist us to adjudicate this case.As soon as information is received processing will continue on this case".

What does it mean?.Did anybody got same information.

Please share your experience.

FP's: Late FP's done on 3/16/2005(I missed the schedule)
140:Lud's 2/1/2005,2/2/2005,2/3/2005,No mesaage change
485 Lud's:2/1/2005,2/2/2005,2/3/2005,anf after FP's 3/17/2005(no message change)

Hi Subba,

Looks like my case and your case are in same boat. Look at my signature.

I have been waiting for my 140 Approval. I thought FP message would trigger some thing, but nothing happened. I came to know that my company has to send answers for RFEs (Company Financials for the year the labor was applied) sent on 140s of other cases applied during the same time. I'm thinking USCIS may be holding my case till all previous cases are answered.

I think if I follow up my case by calling customer service, I'm sure I may get the same response what you got...

I guess the other agency may be DOL, they might have requested information about the labor certification since it is a substitution.

Keep us posted if you have any update.. or news on similar cases in pending.
