Gurus ! what does Pending Service Consideration Mean ?

I had initiated an enquiry on 01/25/2005 on my 485. I got a letter dated 02/24 that my application is "Pending Service Consideration". Does it mean if Name Check/Security Checks are completed ? When I had called VSC in Dec 2004, they had said that application is pending security check. Is the letter response from VSC any different if Security Check is pending or the "Pending Service Consideration" is the standard message they sent out.
FP was complete in Oct 2004 and results sent back same day. Sent an email to FBI in Dec 2004 asking about Name Check - haven't got any response back yet.

Gurus, please can anyone shed some light...
 
I am just reiterating some what someone on this forum said... It just means that your case is waiting to be adjudicated by an officer...same BS message that everyong is getting.... maybe this is a "seasonal" response Vermont is sending out to all inquiries.... :D :D

Early spring youre gonna get a response like "we dont have sufficient resources to process your case".....!!!!! :D :D

Maybe in early summer you may get another response !!!! :D :D

It doesn't mean much. I got the same reply last October and my name checking was completed last month. You need to email FBI for name checking results.

In my case, it took more than 2 months before I got a reply from FBI. They did reply to you though, so be patient after you send the email. Give them following info in your email

Name:
SS#:
Date of Birth:
USCIS Receipt Numbers:
Country of Birth:

I think you need to mention Alien# with other parameters
