Couple of questions for our gurus;
my i-140 was approved last dec.15, 2004. my lawyer send me the copy of the approval letter (I-797). but there was never a change on USCIS web site regarding the approval ? why is that so ?
my H1 will expire on july 2005. do I have to renew it ? can I work on my EAD and just wait for tha approval ?
I recently file for my EAD renewal. I did the filing myself as my lawyer ask for $200 on the top of $175 filing fee. will it make sense ? I sent the old EAD copy, passport, I-94 and drivers license (as per lawyers directive), is that correct ? I got the notice date on I-797C form, what the difference between I-797 and I-797C.
