I recntly started looking at this discussion board. Let me thank all of you for contributing so much.
I have a situation please let me know your thought.
1) My wife was on H1.
2) She took a long leave from her work from jul-99 to jul 2000( The employer still has her H1-B) she was never fired.
3) we never got her H4 processed because the employer said that he will consider her on family leave.
4) In april 2000 we got our EAD.
5) In Aug 2000 she started working for another company by using her EAD.
in the mean time she has gone out of country and come back using her H1-b
do u guys think she was out of status? The previous employer will give me document supporting the fact that she was on vacation.
please give an answer this is kind of bugging me.
