My I -140 was approved for CP (by mistake). Anyway, I thought that I would go for CP and I told my lawyer accordingly. He requested the Packet 3 from NVC. After a week or so I decided not to go for CP and do the AOS. I applied for AOS and my ND is 03/13/01. I got my finger print done in the begining of August. Now when I called NVC to know the status of my I 140 it said that Packet 3 was sent to the attorney of record on Dec 20/00. It instructs me to send the completed Packet 3 to my consulate office. What does it mean? What I need to do now? Has the I 140 been sent to my consulate office?
