Gurus, Please Help - Urgent

Gurus,

My 485 case got approved and I got my passport stamped along with my wife's passport.

I noticed today (when I went to Social Security office that the A# that the lady(black lady with a lot of attittude problem) was wrong). She put one digit wrong and SS office today me that they can't change my SSN card.

Has any one in the same type of situation? What should I do to correct this mistake made by Neward, NJ office?

Your best bet will be to go back to the Newark office and ask for the following :
a) Get the new stamp in the Passport.
b) Make sure that the correct A number has been forwarded for Actual Card Request.

When You go to the 13th floor, ask for the Supervisor. He is a nice guy and your problem should be fixed soon..

This is reqd not only for the SSN but also for the future travel.

Should I go as soon as possible or next Wednesday will be fine as I will have my original approval notice from my attorney so that I can get in as an appointee?

if i am in your place, i will try today, monday, tuesday any day till its done.

You dont need to go on the appointment day(wed). Its their mistake, you should be able to go any day.

If that lady gives a problem, speak to the supervisor. I know that guy. He is pretty good.
