Gurus Please! help! Mail Room Mess

My/my wife\'s applications (485/EAD/AP) were returned to my attorney due to some confusion in opening the letters due to the Mail room backlog/problem. Our applications were filed on APR/30 and they were stamped as received on MAY/01. Our attorney\'s re-filed the applications again with a letter explaining the error on INS part. My question is will I get the MAY/01 as my RD (Received Date) or AUG/08 (date of re-filing). This is crucial if I want to use the 180 day rule to change employer? Please share your thoughts. Thanks

I guess you would get your RD of May\'01 and latest ND. And I think 180 day rule starts from RD...

Thanks a bunch. I donot care about ND at this moment. I donot want to loose my first RD (May 01). Anybody else has any exp./comments.
