Gurus, please help--lay off after RFE submitted

Lay off after I485 RFE's submitted (w-2 pay stub tax return), expect to be approved soon.

Would the lay off impact the I485 approval and get the card? Or it's gone ...

Nothing will happen. Get a same or similar job somewhere else.. USCIS is very considerate on layoffs.. Good luck

thanks for the response, but did you mean that I have to get a similar job before the approval/stamp/interview date? what if I can not find a job by then and the I485 is approved?

They don't ask about job during stamping or before issuing physical card

so don't worry unless you case gets transferred.

After an RFE, chances of approval are 99% without a transfer so hold it tight and you will get there..
