Hi All,

Recently (April 15, 2004) we had gone for FP with code 3.

1.Now what will happen next?
2.How the 485 case status changes online?
3.How would we know that FP and Biometric results were OK?
4.What is name check and how would I know name check is completed or
pending?

Gurus Please help.

Recently (April 15, 2004) we had gone for FP with code 3.

1.Now what will happen next?
God knows. Cases are pending since 2002/2003. You may or may not get approvals.

2.How the 485 case status changes online?

Register at USCIS case status site and you can see if they update your case.

3.How would we know that FP and Biometric results were OK?

Call FBI and find out. Telephone number is at several forums in this site.

4.What is name check and how would I know name check is completed or
pending?

This is a new thing to check up if your name is flashing with any terror lists.
But takes six months to one year if you have bad lucks. No where to enquire if this process is done.

We (me nad wife) have given FP on April 15, 2004 and message changed for my wife as follows
"we have received your FP resutls and processing on this case is resumes ..."

1. what does this mean?
2. This also indicates that name check has been completed?
3. if not do we see change in online message again when USCIS receive name check results?

4. On my case no message change, why?

It means the fingerprint criminal check was done by the FBI and results sent back to USCIS. It doesn't mean that the name check has necessarily been completed. I don't believe there are any online updates for name checks. If your file is at a local office, then you could go make an Infopass and ask them.
 
First I would like to talk to USCIS, can anyone provide phone number for VSC for finger print realted questions.
