We have renewed EAD's and AP
1) Still waiting for any progress on the front.
2) My wife could not make to finger printing in Chicago, in Jan 02, as she was away in India for a while. Fingerprinting re-schedulement is requested twice in the form of a letter to NSC, to no avail.
3) During her 485 application submission, couldn't complete all the medical tests as she was pregnant then.
4) Our baby was born in India in March 02, and she came here on H4 and in Sept 02 we applied for her adjustment of status.
5) Got emergency AP (for self and wife) at local INS Chicago, in Oct 02.
6) Changed the job on Nov 1, 02. Moved from Chicago-Land to Portland, OR (It sucks here!).
Questions:

1) Any advice what should be done here so that we get her fingerprinting notice again, and preferrbly in Portland here?.
2) Does she need to complete her remaining medical tests, only when a RFE is issued, or she can submit same un-solicited or there is a possibillty that no new medical tests are required?.
3) As per you experts, given my wife and daughter's 485 situation and the fact that I have changed the job, am I a fit case for case transfer to local INS?.
4) Is it really screwed case or there are worse?.
