Hi All,

My 485 approved and got stamped. My wife's case is transferred to local INS for interview not sure when they will call for

interview. My question is whether my wife's H4 is Valid to enter country or she needs advance parole to enter country again

since her AOS( Adjustment of status ) is pending . She has H4 till feb 2004.

Please help.

No, her H4 is no longer valid as you

no longer hold H-1 status. She is an "adjustee" status which is still legal based on her pending I-485. She will need a valid unexpired Advanced Parole to travel

how did u find out that your wife's case has been transferred to local INS??
did you get a letter??
