gurus need help - H4 URGENT

one my frineds visa was expiring on 4/14/04 and company filed before that date and he got approved.

Later h4 visa was file since she is in the country. He visa actually expired on 4/14/04. She is not going to India in the near future.
Law office found this out today, how do we fix this, so that she can get h4 without leaving the country.

HAS ANY ONE ENCOUNTERED A SITUATION LIKE THIS. THANKS
 
H4 extension

She can file for H4 extension(its similar to h1 extension).She will be getting the approval(if the primary H1B holder already has a extension on H1B.)
