One of my collegue, has his I 130 approved and he applied for AOS, as he is here in US on H1B. When he filed his I-485/EAD, he received a letter from BCIS stating that,
"Your I-485 application is being rejected. Before you submit your I-485 documentation with the BCIS, you must address the grounds for rejection as noted below and ensure that a visa number is immediately available to you. Infomration regarding visa availability may be obtained from the Dept of State, telephone number xxxx-xxx-xxxx.
Your application is based on an immigrat classification that is not processed at this office. You must file with your local CIS office."
I need your help gurus.. I need to know whether he needs to go to the local office and submit his I-485/EAD.
I really appreciate your help gurus...
