I am a silient observer of this forum. Being a member of this form, I learnt lot of information in the past year or so. Still i have one question for you gurus!

I have decided to join the client as a permanent employee using my EAD. Do you guys foresee any problems in accepting the offer. Do my current employer come after me?

Any experiences .. Please share with me.

It is always a good idea to stay with the original company if possible until your GC gets approved ( to prevent unnecessary hassles from BCIS).
But that doesn't mean you can't switch employers using Ac-21 180 day rule in your case (your I-485 has been pending for more than an year now).
In my case I was laid of one year after filing I-485 in NSC. I have joined another employer. BCIS generated an RFE for Employment letter and Birth certificate for me. When I replied with new companies employment letter NSc tranferred my case to local Ins office. I had to go for Interview and there they approved my case after explaining them about Job change( i have said that due to economic conditions i have switched jobs).

So worst case scenarion is your file may be transferred to local office(and in this process more delays may be possible) or you may get your case approved by INS if they have not created any RFE even if you have switched jobs using AC-21
