Gurus, help with EAD renewal

EAD Renewal

Hi,

My Lawyer did ask me apply on june 1st 2002 ..Mine was expiring in Nov 2002 . I applied for renewal on July 1st & got the Approval for EAD renewal on Aug 21st...

Forgot to add that it took almost 2 months only because there was a RFE for which my lawyer said that INS had lost the photographs & the lawyer resent it... I think it would have been more quicker if not for that RFE...
 
About 5 - 6 weeks

My EAD is expiring on 10/30/02. My lawyer asked me to file for renewal 3 months in advance. I sent my stuff on time. They sent it to Nebraska insteadon VT. I resent everything. I am assuming VT received in teh first week of August and it was approved on Friday (9/6). I am expecting the card in next couple of days.
 
My EAD expires on 10/11/02. My attorney said NOT to renew till October 1st week, because he thinks my case may be approved before that. If it is not approved, I can always walk-in to Boston INS office to renew EAD, they issue it same day.

I hope he is correct.
