My friend had a 10year multiple entry visa. He was here in the US for a few months, went back to India and returned to the US after a month. However at the Point of Entry, he was questioned on his quick return. They found that he had his degrees with him. During his previous trip he had rented an apartment, opened a checking account and taken some licensure classes (not requiring F1 visa). He admitted to all this, since this was not illegal. But he as sent right back.
What are his options ?
I know this topic is not in the right forum...but I did not get a response in the B1/B2 visa forum.
