Here my situation
Came on B1(Visitor Visa).
Changed it to H1B.
Wife and Son is on H4(Changed from B1 to H4)
Wife got H1B Approval on May 2000. Company is still trying for job and could not able to place her so far.
Mean while I have applied for I 485 - RD 9/19/00 ND 10/15/00.Applied for EAD and Parol also for my wife and me.
My H1B Expires in Jan 25 and I have still 2 years left in my H1B.
In my wife papers for I 485 attorney has mentioned that she is on H1B and attached copy of the same.
Now my question is

1)She may get EAD in 2 months.If she uses the same, then she never used her H1B(Never worked on that) Will she be outof status from
May 00 to the time she start using EAD?
2)I do not want to use MY EAD and want to extend my H1B.Is it advisable to get my son\'s H4 also extended with my H1B.
3)Is INS is going to ask my wife\'s W-2, or Pay stubs for May 00 to the date she start working with EAD.

It\'s totally confusing, I asked attorney and he says, she got H1B that means her status from H4 to H1 changed and if she did not work means
she is out of status.Is it right???
My quesiton is yes she got H1B(Please clarify if it is wrong, H1B is only Job Offer, one can take or leave it), and she knows she is going
to get EAD and want to use EAD only not H1B.(If that is the case I have already mentioned in application(i 485 for her) that she is on H1B.

I need help guru\'s.
