Guru, help me with this AC21 question ...

I am between jobs and intend to use AC21 to join a new company. How long a gap can I have between jobs? I want to go home for one or two months during that time (use AP). Is there any legal complication I need to know? Thanks in advance.

My I140 was approved, and I485 is pending > 180 days.
My EAD/AP were approved.

----> There is no time limit. U just need to have a job when there is a RFE or approval, so that u can use AC-21.

----> None. I am assuming u already have a new job offer, and the company is ready to provide a "similar job desc" letter as soon as u get RFE/Approval even if u have not joined them yet.

Thanks for your prompt response. Yes, I got a job with similar job desc. I guess I'll just enjoy the trip then. As for possible recent RFE or Approval on my case? I Wish!!

Just be sure that your AP is valid and does not expire during your trip.
