Where are you? What happened to your cases? MS has posted his 08/00 approval making the others eager and tensed. Should we be expecting more 08/00 approvals now??? Hope so....

I called IIO today at 9:50 EST. She said my case was being
processed and a decision was not yet made. I am not sure how long the wait is gonna be from this point on. I think we should see more Aug 00
approvals starting next week (just a hope!!).

Hello all, As I indicated in my previous message, I spoke to the IIO two weeks ago. She said case assigned to an officer and I can expect a response in 30 - 45 days. So I am patiently waiting. The AVM still says, "Your application was received on ...... It takes between 365 - 540 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision....".

For those of you who do not know, my case is: EB2 RIR India, PD - 07/98. I 485: ND: 07/28/00; EAC - 00-232-50XXX

My next call to the IIO will take place on or around July 1, 2001.

Had I known the difficulty in emigrating to the US, I would have gone to a cricket-loving nation like West Indies or even Bangladesh for that matter.
