Hi,

All of my dates are current and past due for my I485 as per my signature below. On 04/04/05, I got service consideration message and I do not know what the heck this means?

Please suggest if I should contact my congressman to inquire about case. Are there any drawback or issues in doing that? Please guide whether to proceed or no... or may be I should wait for some more time before doing that.

Thanks for any advice/suggestion on this matter.

It is one of the standard response from USCIS for your inquiry. Contacting congressmen would help in getting the accurate status of your case. It will be anywhere from 60 days to 120 days once you get the service consideration response. I got that type of response in January 2005 and got approved end of March. Ofcourse, congressmen status inquiry moved the files from one table to other... :)

Thanks Rajudm...

Thanks Rajudm,

Actually, I was just thinking to go to my congressman office but finally gave up since no one replied back here. I called again myself this afternoon and did a status inquiry.

I am not sure if going to Congressman can affect my case. Any thoughts?

I am thinking to wait for somemore days after 15th May or so and then go to their office. I recently had lot of LUD on my I485 and my spouse. The last one was on 04/25/05.

I will appreciate if you can PM me your contact phone, if that is Ok with you.

There was no message change on these LUD's.
