GUESS WHAT - AP Approved in 13 days

last year it took me 8 months to get my AP..
applied in May 03, received it in Dec 03 which is valid till Dec 04

so this year I decided to apply 8 months before it expires...
RD May 28, 004
ND June 1, 2004
GUESS WHAT....AP Approved June 14, 2004
Hopefully this one starts after my current one expires in Dec 2004....will update it once I receive it.
 
I had requested for the expiry date to be the starting date of my previous EAD and AP on seperate occassions. For EAD they used the approval date as the starting date and for AP the expiry date of the OLD card as the starting date. Wish they did the other way if they had to CHOOSE.
 
wow.. 13 days shd be a record.
My AP ( RD 11 Apr ) got approved on 1st june.
I rec'd my documents which start from the expiration date of the current AP ( sep 04). waiting to get my wife's document, which was approved on 3rd june.

i m still waiting on EAD (rd jan 04) filed online ( st00pid of me ).. :mad:
 
You guys are really lucky! My 3rd AP ND is 2/18/04, not approved yet. Call the 1-800 number last week and set up an inquiry, till now, nothing yet.

It looks like they are working hard on your AOS and not caring much about AP. We filed our APs around your ND and received them recently. The funny thing is I received one more envelope (some lady with Florida address) which I redirected today, actually it was stuck to mine. I believe you will get good news about AOS soon. Good luck.

Thank you very much for the good words. I'm in Florida also, but I have not got any email saying that mine or my spouse's AP is approved. I guess the one you redirected today is not ours. :-(
 
my wife's got approved in 13 days too ... applied Jun 3, approved Jun 16!!!

waiting to see the vailidity dates - i applied 8 months in advance :eek:

I think they have a new hire at TSC who does now know that they are supposed to delay these applications. He/she should be transfered to the 485 sectioin.
 
Got the approval in the mail. They put date issued as Dec 2004 and valid till Dec 2005..I did not loose any days....WTG TSC...
Now I hope I never have to use this and get my GC soon...
