If you see any CSC I-485 approval any where on this board please post it to this thread with all the info (if it is not already posted to this thread). Please follow below guidelines while posting.
1. In the subject line, give it running serial number, member name (that got approved), and the subject line.
2. Entire text of their approval message (cut and paste including headers)
3. Please also provide a Link to that aproval thead/post.

Also refrain from any other discussion (apart from CSC I-485 approvals)in this thread so that we can keep it lean.

Hi Friends,

I heard the magic words today at 12:58 a.m. It says that my GC and my wife\'s GC got approved on July2nd. Here are my details

RD: 08/01
ND:09/01
FD:12/01
EAD and AP came during Nov end.
GC resumed on 01/18/02.

I am really thankful to this wonderful site which provided up to date information and trouble shooting techniques.

I sincerely hope that every one still waiting for their approval will definetly hear the same magic words which i heard today.

Do we need to take seperate photos while going for stamping?????????????????
If so could any one explain me how the photos should be like...

I mean, is it similar to the photos which we send to INS while filing I-485

Hi Everybody it is my turn to spell out the Good News about I-485 approval for both me and my Spouse.
Priority Date - Dec 2000.
Reciept Date - Sep 17 th 2001
Notice Date - Sep 28 th 2001.
FP - 15TH MARCH 2002.
Second FP given by spouse on April 17th.
Case Assigned - June 17th.
Approval date - July 2nd
Talked to IIO for about 4 times in the whole process.

I thank one and all for sharing their experiences and made me aware of the latest developments.
Special thx to Pcee,greaty-k,SOI,wudan and scores of others.

Few Questions:
1. I am presently in another state, can i get it stamped at the local INS center?
2. Do i have to take the original which i am likely to receive from the Attorney for stamping?
3. Can i travel to my home country after stamping without waiting for actual plastic card?

WAC (287), RFE case approved

One more down! Approval date was 7/2 and received the courtesy copy by mail yesterday, planning to go to SFO for stamping tomorrow. This forum has been quite helpful, lowering the stress levels. Thanx to PCee, rsgsc, milli, and countelss others.

Got RFE for my EAD. (INS asked me to send the finger print and signature form again)
Received RFE in DEC 20th Replied through lawyer on Jan 2nd 2002
walked in to San Jose INS and got interm EAD. Original EAD received on Jan 28 2002

My wife got Her EAD on DEC 19th 2001.

FP Notice Date April 14th 2002
FP Done on March 6th


Process Resumed on June 4th 2002

I-485 approved on July 2nd 2002

Note: AVM not changed for my Wife Until approval.
For me it changed We received FP result on Mar 14th ...........

Called IIO 3 time ( 2 time for me and 1 time for my wife after June 15 th)

Good news ... The I-485 applications for my wife and myself were approved on July 1. Here are our details:

AP: Nov 26, 2001
EAD: Dec 5, 2001
FP (scheduled): Mar 15, 2002
FP (done): Feb 7, 2002 (San Jose)

I used to monitor the AVM quite regularly (except last week; interestingly, that is when our applications were approved).

I am a regular follower of this site. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences and keeping us updated on the recent events. Special thanks to Pcee and others for a fine job in maintaining the site and providing expert opinion.

Best wishes to those who are waiting for your respective approvals. Hope that your approvals will come through quickly.
