Hi there,

I got greencard through my wife from Philadelphia office last year.

Now due to job purpose I have to move to mid west where my wife can't move due to education purpose

so my question is if its gonna be problem when I apply for renewal for greencard?

If you're talking about renewing a regular 10-year card, no. But it seems you're not talking about a regular renewal, you're talking about I-751 removal of conditions. For that yes the living apart could be a problem. You'll have to be prepared with evidence of why you were apart (school records etc.) and evidence that you still talk to and meet each other on a regular basis (phone bills, airline tickets, etc.), in case the interviewer is concerned about the validity of the marriage.
