I have filed for my citizenship this November (2009). I'm hoping to receive my Citizenship in March, 2010. My Spouse is currently in US and on a student visa studying in Boston University. After I get my citizenship, I am planning to file petition I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) immediately for my wife.
Can someone please tell me what the procedure is for this? and approximately what the time frame is for someone to get it approved, work authorization and ultimately permission to travel to India?
Since citizenship process is not taking long is the process for above mentioned petition also goes quicker? Has someone went through this recently?
