Greencard application after 1yr as asylee

Am ready to start my GC application. I have no fees for a lawyer so i plan to do it myself. I really need all the help i can get going thro this application. Please help me if yu recently went thro this application. I want to send the package next week. i have not filled out anything yet. Please break it down for me. Thanks in advance. This are tough times and i wish i had money to pay a lawyer to do all this for me.
 
it's not too hard I have done it about 5 times already. you need to spend lots of careful hours praparing it. I usually spend about 7 days finishing such cos i do slowly and carefully and they all worked, documents should be very neat and all the photocopies should be in color as it looks good to officer, well organized.
 
thanks Jonnie, i read somewhere about birth certificate. mine was issued in 2003 and it is official and original. do i still need affivadit since it was not issued within a year after i was born?
 
I finally sent my I485 application. the only thing not included in the packet is medical. am planning to do that next week and keep it until they ask for it. pray for me pple. am really anxious.
 
Good luck but no need to be paranoid. You give what you have and if you think u are certain of your document. that is what it judges you. As far as the Medical exam, I would send it together but again the sooner the better.
