Green Card

Hello,

I’ve received my card today. But, my spouse is yet to receive the card. I did check the online as well as through BCIS telephone and found the message for my spouse is different than mine.

For my spouse:
Processing for your Alien Registration Card or Green Card has been completed. Your BCIS document will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.


For me:
On May 16, 2003, after approving your application, we ordered a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Can any know what does this meaning of above message or make a wild guess?

It means that

your spouse's card is going to take a little while longer.
In your case the message meant that they passed on the completed application for card printing and mailing to you.
In the other case they completed processing but not yet sent it for printing...my guess.
It happened in family of 4, the last card took 3 weeks longer than the other 3.
