Hi,

I am on student visa and my husband is a permanent resident. He filed for my I-130 in 2004 but we have not yet heard anything. Next year in November 2007 it will be 5 years since he became permanent resident. I have 2 questions:

1). How long will it take for my husband to become US citizen?

2). After he becomes US citizen how long will it take to get my green card?

He can apply for citizenship after 4 years and 8 months from the date he recieved the GC.
It will take 8 months to get Citizenship not sure but check your local DO for the time lines
After he gets citizenship it will take 8 to 10 months to get greencard for you but check local DO for the exact time lines.
