thank u for taking the time to read this. please advise me on how to go abt this. I am a GC holder and planning to file for my citizenship in a day or two.(i'm gonna file for my husband's GC after i get my citizenship )
my problem is that, when my father filed for GC 10 years ago, we didnt put my real birth mother's name on the paperwork, instead we had my aunt's name as my mother. we even got a fake birth certificate to prove it. I wasnt aware of this as I was young (19 yrs) when i entered US and didnt know abt any paperwork.
now i want to set things straight and put my real mother's name on the documents, and is there a way I can do that ? or will it complicate my case ?
at this point, i do have the choice of filing the paperwork with my fake certificate, but im just concerned that if some of my not-so-nice relatives can create a problem for me about these fake documents. Cuz they are very capable of it..

p.s - do u know of any lawyer's email address that i can email and ask for advise or where i can find their info on the net?
