This issue might have been already answered, but I did not see the details right away; so this new posting. Please advice.
My daughter's 485 got approved in June 2005. Since we had applied for a new passport as she had reached 16, we could not get the stamping done. I am very concerned about the delay. Passport is now expected in the next few weeks.
I am told the she should have received the Green Card by now though she is yet to go for stamping. I have been asked to follow up with USCIS. Is this the right advice? Is there any procedure to let USICS know that I require a litttle while longer for her stamping?
