Someone tell me if I even have a chance to pass a green card application via marriage. I had petit larceny (shoplifting) case dismissed while I was in Vegas. Even if it was dismissed the judge told me that I need to expunge it or it will show in background checks.
Months later, I got charged with disorderly conduct here in IL where I live. Case is still on going. I actually have an appointment today for a second chance program - they say this program is me basically admitting guilt but if I complete the requirements it won't show on my record.
I need advice please especially immigration lawyer referral. Thank you.
