Green Card While In India

Gurus, i would appreciate your response to the following queries i have :

1. I understood that the full GC processing (LC, I-140, I-485/consular) can be completely done while at India without having to travel to U.S. Say i get this done thru company 'A' while working in company 'B' in India. When the GC is approved, am i required to starting working in the U.S.A with company 'A' immediately? Is there any minimum time that i need to work in company 'A' and/or U.S.A after the approval?

2. I understood that LC is waived for managers transferring from a MNC from India to the U.S, and that I-140 and 485 can be filed directly. My question is: can the I-140 and 485 be directly filed while in India, working in a managerial position?

Really appreciate your inputs.

1) I don't think you can do that. The employer has to be US based and the employee needs to reside in US as Labor wage analysis is carried out as per US economy specific to the state where the Labor is filed.
2) The Labor Cert stage can be bypassed,if and only if you get transferred to US from your Indian location in L-1A category(managerial). But there is lot of scrutiny which takes place before you are allowed to file your 140 & 485 stages.

Good luck!
