I read on this forum and it is quite clear that -
An individual is eligible for 7th yr extension if he/she has a pending labor for more than 365 days in DOL. - 1yr extension eligibility
An individual is eligible for 7th yr (3yrs) extension if he/she has approved I140 application and waiting for 485 visa numbers. - 3yr extension eligibility
But when I change jobs
between 5th and 6th year of a H1 visa OR between 6th and 7th year of H1 Visa can I apply for a "Green Card" from the new company as the previous GC process will not be carried forward if 485 is atleast 6 months old ?
