(1) Okay lets say I apply for USC, do I have to take my GC at the time of interview and will it have to be surrendered the IO at the time of interview or I can still keep it with me till is actually expires?

(2) After becoming USC do I have to get US passport, is that a requirement of I can stay without one and my oath/citizenship certificate is enough for me to make me eligible for federal jobs. Like when they ask for citizenship status can I use the oath/citizenship certificate for employment. Is it accepted or I have to have a US passport to prove my US citizenship?

(3) Lets say even if I am compelled to get US passport do I have to return my current passport or I can still keep it?

Thanks

You keep your GC after the interview but surrender it at the oath ceremony. You cannot have it after you receive the certificate of naturalisation.

You do not have to apply for the passport, but if you are going to apply for federal jobs I would strongly suggest to do it because you can use it for eVerify (electronic I-9). You cannot use your certificate for I-9/eVerify purposes. If you don't want to apply for the passport, you can use a combination of your SSN card (updated) and a driving licence. To summarise: you can use the certificate to prove your US citizenship status but not to prove your employment eligibility. On the other hand, you can use the passport to do both.

It depends on the laws of your original country of citizenship. If it allows dual citizenship, then you can have two passports. The USA does not require you to formally renounce the previous citizenship, so they don't care if you keep your previous passport.
