Hi all,

My uncle has filed for family based immigration for my mom. Mom and Dad came to US on H1 visa in 2000. I came to US on F1 in 2000.

Mom has received her green card thru the petition in 2001. I and my brother were over 21 at that time and thus could not get GC. I am currently on H1 and my brother is in India and married.

What is the fastest way for myself and my brother to acquire GC?

My employer may apply for my GC, but the company is very small in size. I am not sure if that will become a hindrance.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Your mother can petition for you, but it would take many years before an immigrant visa would become available. Employment based petition is likely to be much faster.
