I recently got married to a US citizen(in Jan 2013) and have filed for a I-485(Feb 22nd 2013) and I-765(EAD on March 4th 2013). I am currently on a H-1b visa(I-140 approved through my employer), and would like to switch jobs as I have an offer in hand from another company. Do they still need to file for my H-1B transfer or would I be exempt from filing H-1B transfer since my I-485 and EAD application is pending? Your response on this will be appreciated.
